Cosmetic Dermatology Treatment

30 - min Signature Hydrafacial

A physical exfoliation where a small tool is used to suction dead skin & debris that loosens from exfoliating. There’s a vortex that pushes in nutrient serums into the skin. Extractions are included, if necessary.

Chemical Peel

BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) we carry Salicylic acid. Good for deep cleansing pores for breakouts, it works topically deep into the pores and is also self-neutralizing.

AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) we carry Glycolic acid. It works by applying into the skin and then penetrates, is good for brown spots, collagen/elastin, & fine lines. It comes in different strengths: 30%, 50%, & 70%.

Lactic Acid –It is good for people who has never had a peel before & for sensitive skin.

Vi Peel

A self-neutralizing peel that provides dramatic results that targets anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, sun spots, damaged skin, acneic skin and acne scarring.

Heavy peeling on days 3 & 4, and healed in 7-10 days.

No sun exposure/heat exposure and no topical meds for at least 14 days after treatment

Photofacial/IPL (Intense Pulse Light)

3The laser seeks out the brown & red spots in the skin. Good treatment for age and sun spots, broken capillaries, rosacea. Not recommended for skin types 4 & 5 (darker skin) & usually not the best treatment for arms and legs. This treatment does not require numbing and is at least a 30 min treatment.

The side effects can include: redness, blotching, some swelling may occur. It may also feel like a sunburn (at least 12-72 hrs). It is usually to best avoid the sun, heavy exercise, and topical medications (best to stop meds 7 days before & 7 days after tx).

Precision Microneedling (SKIN PEN)

The tool used for Microneedling has a disposable cartridge with microscopic needles that punctures into the skin. This treatment is good for acne scars, stretch marks, fine lines and gives great skin texture & skin tone. Numbing is required prior to getting treatment done.

Side effects can include: redness, pin-point bleeding (which last no more than a couple days).

Patients need to keep the face clean & no make-up for at least 12 hrs (for women) after the treatment.

Sclerotherapy

A procedure used to treat blood vessels or blood vessel malformations (vascular malformations) and also those of the lymphatic system. A medicine is injected into the vessels, which makes them shrink; used to treat spider veins.
